AoPPW Continuous PRAYER POINTS

8 of the things the holy scriptures teach that Christians should remember in prayer on a regular basis.

  1. PRAYER POINT #1 – Pray for the Unity of His people. –That they may all be one - John 17:20,21

John 17:20  Neither for these alone do I pray [  it is not for their sake only that I make this request ], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching,
John 17:21  That they all may be one , [   just ] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me.

  2. PRAYER POINT #2 – Pray for all people and especially government and all authorities. – Paul urges prayer for these groups! 1 Tim 2:1-3

1Ti 2:1  FIRST OF all, then, I admonish and urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men,
1Ti 2:2  For kings and all who are in positions of authority or high responsibility, that [outwardly  ] we may pass a quiet and undisturbed life [  and inwardly] a peaceable one in all godliness and reverence and seriousness in every way.
1Ti 2:3  For such [ praying ] is good and right, and [   it is ] pleasing and acceptable to God our Savior,

Deu 8:17  And beware lest you say in your [  mind and  ] heart, My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth.
Deu 8:18  But you shall [  earnestly  ] remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

Honor the Lord with your wealth and He will fill your barns - Proverbs 3:9-10
